Beautiful Country House in Umbria, Italy

Le Rondini is a two-story stone farmhouse in Umbria that was carefully restored prior to the summer of 2000 by an American family who were dazzled by the spectacular views. The house has four bedrooms, three full baths, living room, dining room, well-appointed kitchen and library. The surrounding garden has been lovingly tended and focuses on scented flowers and herbs. There is a landscaped swimming pool overlooking the medieval hill town of Todi and the surrounding valleys. The spacious house is furnished with simple antiques, soft colors, and comfortable new sofas, chairs and beds.

Le Rondini is ideally situated for visits to such Umbrian destinations as Assisi, Spoleto, Perugia, and Gubbio as well as destinations in Tuscany. Orvieto is only thirty minutes away and Cortona an hour. The driving time from the Rome airport is one hour and forty-five minutes and one can fly also to the smaller airport in Perugia which is thirty minutes north of Todi. Florence is two hours north.

Le Rondini is not a typical rental property in that it is a well loved second home and has all the warmth and amenities of a family home in Italy.
